cpatullo Posted July 8, 2005 CID Share Posted July 8, 2005 New user of DW here. Of course, I'm not happy with the speeds. When you hear "ihgh speed", I guess I expected it. Anyway. Talking to the yahoo's in India, they tell me that as long as you are over 200Kbps, I am fine...well, I'm running in the 100-300 range, and they gave me the same old line that it is my computer. Anyone else here been in the same boat? Any suggestions on what to do? What I am seeing is browsing speeds of 4-15 sec per page, and very inconsistant speeds. Any help would be great! Can you post some stats so we can all see whats up! goto http://192.168.0.1 click on system status and let us know your signal strength, also goto system info and post anything under satelitte like this.. turner7205 Posted July 10, 2005 CID Share Posted July 10, 2005 that was a decent test...how long have you had it, I got mine and i was at those speeds within a week i was at around 1000Kbps plus and I still am. DirecWay advertises only 500Kbps and so how much can you really expect. I see your at 83 degrees are you near chicago because thats what im by and im at 83degrees.
