The reason that I'm doing this poll is because yesterday, while working on a friends computer, I visited TestMy.net from his system. The forum looked extremely large. His resolution is set at 1024x768. That's the highest resolution he can achieve on his flat panel.

Signatures that normally look great on my screen were enormous and out of place on his. It felt like I was looking at 640x480.

I'm using 1024 X 768 on a 17" flat panel. Organ_shifter is right about his sig. The MS icon is on top of the rest of it when I view it. The 1280 X1024 res. just didn't look right to me so I set it to 1152 X 864 a minute ago. Might take a while to get used to it.  ;)

Yep, I checked the text size netmasta. It was set at medium (default). I think the 1024x768 resolution does that automatically. Philp said that he got the same thing as I described.

Hmm... Wel it could be a few things. His window font size could be too big (set in display properties), I kind of doubt that though. Does he have a lot of toolbars in his browser window?

That's all I can think of for now.

He has two rows of toolbars like me.

Like now, for instance, my sig has the MS logo directly to the left of sig_x in 1280x1024, but when I switch my resolution to 1024x768, the MS logo can't fit on the left, so it's above sig_x.

Being that everything gets bigger with the lower resolution, my sig can't fit altogether below my post.

This is how it looks to me on my 1024x768:

Same for me on that setting. Mine is set for small icons and medium text size and I have everything conslidated into a single bar across the top. I like to take advantage of as much screen space as I can.
