WOW my new DL speed with 8mbps upgrade!

Download Speed is:: 840 kB/s

Test Time:: Fri Jul 29 2005 11:19:54 GMT-0400 (Eastern Standard Time)

Bottom Line:: 123X faster than 56K 1MB download in 1.22 sec

Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 77.47 % faster than the average for host (comcast.net)

Now I've attached Van's cablenut settings. If you already have them...great, but if you don't download them and try the cable 5/768 settings. Set your nic to half duplex and set the buffer at 32 K bytes. Before you do all that I've already listed...check this link and make sure you've taken all of these steps. http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-2097 After you do all of this it may bump that speed up a bit. Here are my test results after doing these steps. Remember that it may not work as well for you but it's worth a try.  :D :::.. Download Stats ..:::

Download Speed is:: 874 kB/s

Test Time:: Fri Jul 29 2005 11:31:03 GMT-0400 (Eastern Daylight Time)

Bottom Line:: 128X faster than 56K 1MB download in 1.17 sec

Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 84.83 % faster than the average for host (comcast.net)
