Can we just upgrade or do we have start fresh? can you install Norton and Spybot? Even more importantly what about programs like DVDX COPY PRO and NERO? I hope these are'nt stupid questions. misery Posted July 30, 2005 CID Share Posted July 30, 2005 the beta works i believe for 30 days. if thats not it then i'm not sure. as for spybot.. i've tried to install it. but the update function doesn't function correctly. as for nero or any dvd related software i'm not positive as i'm not going to be installing any of that into the beta.. just the important stuff as in drivers for my network card, audio and graphic drivers. and as an always need to have in my book i downloaded firefox. oh also, as far as anti virus programs go. i tried kaspersky personal pro 5.0. but won't work with winvista. i tried ezantivirus and that worked. so i'm using that. being it's free.
