Thanks, Bird Fan. I just d/led SatSpeed2.3. I had tried it before but it was when it first came out. At that time, it didn't seem to work as well as just using DRTCP. But that was with my 4000 system. Form what I see, all I can use on SatSpeed is the MaxConnections setting for the 7000s. Unless theres something else I missed.

This is my last speed test ...

I appreciate your help. I'm new to the 7000s  :azn:

I thought it was Toyota. I do get lost on the numbers being used for names.

So I will reiterate. 6000 modem by hughes.  :wink2:

That could be, but I thought there was a Pontiac 6000. tommie do you ever think you'll use anything but sat for internet? I really have gotten used to mine, only used dsl when visiting but I don't have any other ties out except my power lines so I don't know if I would.  :undecided:

If DSL were to finish it to my house. Certainly. The kids live in a whole new world. And it is my job to be educated to my best, so I may teach them all I can. Old and new. And soon they will need internet on their comp uspstairs. So with what little I have down here. It will be welcomed. And cheaper. It is only .2 of a mile away. I checked it the other night.

Now if were just me and the misses. Nah. I would be fine, just like you.  :grin2:

I have tried talking to everyone till I am blue in the face. I have asked all those questions. I have been from nice to hopping mad and everthing in between. My first thought was wireless. I even offered to nail it to the trees for them.  :tickedoff:

They continue to say when they get damned good and ready. And not until. And it is 6.0.

I even checked so many places my in mail was constantly full for a while hopping to get an independent contractor to hook it up.
