Wow. Cox is obviously the best ISP in Fairfax, VA. 5/768 package or 5/2 package I don't remember. But check out these speeds!

If it's supposed to be 2MB upload then that's a little slow, but I don't remember what it's supposed to be. :evil6: I could use a Custom Cablenut file, because the ones in Van Buren's V7 don't have a 5/2 or 5/768 custom file. Still, I'm very happy that I have Cox Cable! I switched from 768Kbps download Verizon DSL, and have this great speed now. It should be perfect for anything! The guy who came to install our service had to take an extra hour though, Lol. :haha: Still, Cox is the best! :headbang:

Just tried it and got these results:

TCP/Web100 Network Diagnostic Tool v5.3.3d

click START to begin

Checking for Middleboxes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  Done

running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 1.02Mb/s

running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 4.09Mb/s

Your PC is connected to a Cable/DSL modem

Let me find a different NDT server to try.

edit: try this link for alternate servers: http://e2epi.internet2.edu/ndt/ndt-server-list.html

it seems the ones at the BOTTOM work, the top ones time out......

Upload Speed: 1659 Kbps (207.4 kB/sec transfer rate)

NDT http://nitro.ucsc.edu/:

running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 1.58Mb/s

running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 5.32Mb/s

The slowest link in the end-to-end path is a 10 Mbps Ethernet subnet

Information: Other network traffic is congesting the link

click START to re-test

The speed tests all match up quite well.

I would give the upload some time before getting too concerned about not hitting your 2mbps cap.

I found VanBuren's Verizon Fios DHCP 5000 - 2000 cable nut file, it can't hurt to try that one.

It is attached below.

Let us know if it helps.
