My Router is 192.168.1.1 and my cable modem is 192.168.100.1 and those two IP addies are to check the connection and down/upload. drebel Posted April 13, 2006 CID Share Posted April 13, 2006 as the readme says they probably disabled snmp I would imagine since that is one of the ways you could go around uncapping your modem. The Emergency Weather Warning interrrupts the cable signal, and I would expect this as normal for a regular cable tv subscriber line..but with powerlink also?... My question is: Is it normal for cable internet service lines to broadcast the emergency warning and interrupt the service? is it just another flop on onelink's side? resopalrabotnick Posted April 22, 2006 Author CID Share Posted April 22, 2006 hm. interesting. that might explain having to resync the modem (powercycle) it indicates synched but the connection is dead... as for the emergency broadcast system killing the signal, i would think it only affected the participating tv station... i only have the powerlink, not their cable.. can't say wether outages concur with signal...
