chris79 Posted October 14, 2005 CID Share Posted October 14, 2005 Firstly, I do not know much about internet connections, so have mercy for me;) I ran a test from this nice website and got such a message in "Diagnosis": "May need help : running at only 21.4 % of your hosts average (net.pl)" I am using a DSL connection from a Polish provider Dialog. It is 1Mbit download and 1/8 of this upload, which means I should have max 128 KB/s download speed and max 32 KB upload. Such was the case for past few months, but recently I noticed that my upload while transmitting a file to ftp was somehow lower. I worked out it's hardly exceeding 7KB/s in any situation and then found this website that just confirmed it. So what kind of help do I need? Is it possible that something's wrong with hardware or the modem? BTW my download speed seems to be OK, even though the download test gives a similar message Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
