uninstall problem

I have this problem

when I turn on  or  restart the pc windows installer  try to install a  program

that I uninstall before 2 days

I used 'uninstall.exe'  after this I check the pc for viruses,  spyware  , the startup registry  (whit Startup Inspector for Windows) scan registry ( whit Registry Mechanic)

and nothing

I don't know what else to do

What program? Is it still listed in Control Panel>Add/Remove software list? Try uninstalling it that way if it is still listed there.

You also may want to try a virus and spyware scan while in safe mode as some viruses and spyware won't be picked up unless in safe mode.

yes it's still in CP>Add/Remove list : doesn't work

I did it in safe mode no viruses no spyware

even I delete the "fpb.msi" file from  c:windowsinstaller  .....and nothing

did you try going in to the registry to remove it?

If so,try goin to this key in the registry....................>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstall

You may have to look for the key you're self,sometimes the key won't have a name,the key for eg. might be called.......>HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstall{00170409-78E1-11D2-B60F-006097C998E7}........don't worry,you'll get it.....

I think he cleaned it out in registry, but if not good info :) Sure ya haven't got a install disk forgotten about in your drive  :haha:

Also you might be able to disable that program from starting and trying to install when you reboot by using MSConfig :)
