Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 280 Kbps about 0.3 Mbps (tested with 2992 kB) Download Speed is:: 34 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (server2) Test Time:: Sun Oct 30 2005 14:35:43 GMT-0600 (Central Standard Time) Bottom Line:: 5X faster than 56K 1MB download in 30.12 sec Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 6.32 % of your hosts average (comcast.net) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-OZYPIC9NS I have a 5.0 package in my area and this past month I have been having terrible speeds. I called comcast (which is my host) and told them to take a look at my connection, they said that my latency was over 1000 and I was having a 20% package loss. So had a tech come out and he took a look at everything. He installed a new 10/100 EtherFast pci adapter for my ethernet connection. (I am using linsys) And then the package loss was totally gone and had an incredible 6.3 speed tests on this website. I then woke up this morning booting up my computer and noticed everything is back to where it was. My speed is HORRIFIC and I am not able to do anything whatsoever except browse the internet and post this. I am hoping to see if there are any answers on this board, and to see if anyone has been in this situation not knowing what to do. I have tried repairing my connection.
