How traffic effects speeds!

These are my speeds during the day when I have traffic. I have a SDSL line operating at 1.2/1.2.

Connection is:: 764 Kbps about 0.8 Mbps (tested with 579 kB)

Download Speed is:: 93 kB/s

Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (server2)

Test Time:: Tue Nov 1 16:48:37 CST 2005

Bottom Line:: 14X faster than 56K 1MB download in 11.01 sec

Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 148.86 % faster than the average for host (68.34)

Upload Speed is:: 54 kB/s

Bottom Line:: 8X faster than 56K 1MB upload in 18.96 sec

Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 83.05 % of your hosts average (68.34)

lol of course traffic effect speeds, that is obvious and is what those king of lines are for is to handle traffic efficiently. What you expect full speeds with traffic?

wow, trans no need to get spiffy, just posting how bad it sucks when you got kids download crap off my server...it feels like im on dialup agian...  :(

Ouch, how many users you think are using it?

i host a ftp and a mail server, and sometimes a mlg halo 2 server... but at the moment a friend was downloading the tribes game from my comp  ;)
