junkieXL Posted December 7, 2005 CID Share Posted December 7, 2005 This problem comes to us by way of the dead goose of the decade: -->WinXP SP2<--- The problem is caused by a Local Security Setting which was changed by Microsoft with the introduction of SP2.... "Impersonate a client after authentication"<--is the setting. By default this is disabled (unpopulated) when you install XP SP2, whereas in SP1 it was populated with Administrators group.
