Hello I've recently seen slower download speeds and not sure why. My upload speed hasn't changed. I use xp home and I have dsl through sbc Ameritech using a speedstream 5100 modem same firewall as always no spyware or virus. The problem started last week.

Here are my speed tests...

Test Time:: Thu Dec 01 2005 12:29:51 GMT-0500 (US Eastern Standard Time)

Bottom Line:: 22X faster than 56K 1MB download in 6.65 sec

Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 69.67 % of your hosts average (ameritech.net)
