Basically I'm even having trouble navigating through the forums and running the speed tests. I wasn't able to get the Upload one to work, but the download is below. I've run Ad-Aware and Spybot and they haven't found anything. Norton Antivirus hasn't found anything either. Download: (note: this is actually a different computer than the one I am posting from, but both computers are suffering the same fate) Validation: https://testmy.net/stats/id-WY3VGNZQ6 5 kb/s Download 38kbps Connection .82% of host average (Comcast) 1x faster than 56k; 1 MB = 204.8s I'm not sure what the problem could be. They replaced the drop and I was able to connect. However, the best my 8Mbps connection was getting was 2.3Mbps on the download. After going through the standard crap of speaking with a member of tech support who knew less than me, I got my service call. The tech did the tech thing. Eventually, he finally replaced the modem. (My tweaks were in place before the modem swap.) With the new modem I'm "Pedal to the metal"! :::..
