its ok, you live 10 minutes away from me lewis and your definetly not getting fiber or even verizon fios, not even in your dreams. first of all verizon isn't offered here in south florida, if you want fios go to tampa.  second of all it if you were getting fiber optic internet,  your will be getting fiber done through bellsouth and will charge you lots of money, more than a 100 a month with horrible ping 300+ms.  So sorry to brake it to you but your never getting fiber optic internet.

Really then how come there have been 4 verizon trucks parked out side my complex for the past week, droping off a new box at the corner and rewireing the hole complex to except fios.

also you say its just a van named verizon parked out infront of your house right? how do you know its not for the verizon wireless (cellphone) or he is just staking out your crib and wanting to get to know you better?  How do you know its fiber being installed and that your gonna get it?  just doesnt make sense in an area that only bellsouth operates in.
