One way to get faster internet speeds is to discourage your neighbors from their fast internet and go with dialup. hence more bandwidth for you. I have no one near me that has cable. Nothing is affecting my upload but the fact that I am on one way, which gives you dial up for the upload. Nothing I can do to "dump crappy upload", it's up to my ISP to upgrade me and bring two way to my area. I really don't see it as a problem either, since I never upload anything. I just get sick of people telling me there's something I can do about it, and trying to make it faster.
