I never understood the reason to have SO much music, I mean seriously...will you even listen to half of that? And must have alot of porn for needing 2.2TB lol

And it dosent even look like the drives have power connected to them

I run an online radio station, so yes, I would use it and it would be listened to by a LOT of people ;-)

we use sw cast with SAM3 at a 64 bit rate. Our connection is cable (roadrunner) and we run 3 transcoders so that the listners in dial up don't buffer like most stations.

Myself, I pull the music directly off my computer, but most of our DJ's stream remotely through the server. They also store their music on it in their own areas.

Hmph, I'm not sure, going to ask the better half how that all plays out. There's some formula due to the program and the differences in song bitrates... it alsways makes my head spin, so I try not to get to into it.

All I know is that the cable connection serves the purpose and satellite can't handle it. Dsl can't either. I need either cable or a T-1. I am certainly not paying for a T-1!

We almost never have skipping or buffering, if we do, it's not due to our connection, but our computers. Of course, for a long time he was streaming on a tweaked 386 pentium 2.
