I did have something running that was sucking up my bandwidth the first and not the second. I just took it again and this is the results.

Anyway to max it out so that I'm getting the whole 100% or is that impossible?

If you can get 90% of your Advertised Speed, you're doing OK..

Remember the avg is that of Comcast.net..(i'm not sure what packages they offer, or if yours is the highest speed they offer)

'

Ex-

:::.. Download Stats ..:::

Connection is:: 24658 Kbps about 24.7 Mbps (tested with 3151 kB)

Download Speed is:: 3010 kB/s

Tested From:: http://www.bafserv.com

Test Time::

Bottom Line:: 440X faster than 56K 1MB download in 0.34 sec

Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 452.37 % faster than the average for host (verizon.net)

Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-6D14S0Q9O

Note how it says 452% faster...(this is cause verizon offers much slower service, and it compares to all Verizon.net tests)

You're actually running over your advertised speeds right now, it's just the people with faster packages making it impossible for you to meet the average.

Competition....

We had only Cablevision(Optonline), for the longest time...No DSL, only OOL or Dial up(lol not).

Luckily my town got chosen for FIOS, and as a promo they offerred us the 30/5 for $55 for 12 months..(we shall see what happens in a year)...Cable was 10/1(which they just bumped up to 15/2 here for free to try and stop the flood of customers leaving), for $49...So we jumped on Fios...So happy we did...

Connection is:: 25040 Kbps about 25 Mbps (tested with 3151 kB)

Download Speed is:: 3057 kB/s

Tested From:: http://www.bafserv.com

:::.. Upload Stats ..:::

Connection is:: 4527 Kbps about 4.5 Mbps (tested with 12159 kB)

Upload Speed is:: 553 kB/s

Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (server1)

Test Time:: Tue Dec 20 15:46:06 EST 2005

Bottom Line:: 81X faster than 56K 1MB upload in 1.85 sec

Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 622.01 % faster than the average for host (verizon.net)

The speakeasy tests show 29,911/4,500... And its solid as a rock... So far I have not one complaint about them...

I highly doubt cablenut gave you that much of a jump in dl speeds......

but, maybe im wrong

Actually Cablenut settings can cause that much of a difference. Take me for example, This is a Download result with the "standard" 64240 RWIN:

http://www.testmy.net/s_engine.php?type=test_id&q=UCW79N50R

and here is one after using Cablenut: http://www.testmy.net/s_engine.php?type=test_id&q=%09X23Z4UFSM

As you can see there is a 339.80 % or 3.398 Times faster difference.

actually, if his rwin was low enough and his connection fast enough to get the high score, then increasing the rwin appropriately can effect that change. i had a win98 machine that went from 750k to 3.5m simply by increasing the rwin. (because the default rwin on 98 is tiny)

That's exactly why it increased my speed so much. I'm on a 15 mbps connection. but windows default RWIN for XP can only support a 5mbps connection on average. so using cablenut to adjust RWIN allows me to get near maximum.
