You could host an ftp server. There are many free programs which will do that and it should maximize your connections.

If you prefer a non windows approach I highly recommend netfile ftp and webserver. Theres a free version that allows you host your own ftp server and website.

it works , I use it

no ftp or web server setup

but do add the ports to firewall

no more burning cd-roms and mailing

this application works

If you want to try something with aim before trying a new program, try the attached file. It will make aim have no delay will sending the file, like how it sometimes stops and waits a second. Put 0 seconds for the delay and see if the files transfer faster, if not try a ftp or some p2p app.

dont use aim its basically showing aol what your transfering so try a ftp or a file sharing program.
