my buddy has a wireless modem and also has a wireless linksys router hooked up to that. Iam unable to get any connection to a ps2 or 360. I have called TDS but they say it should work and also called linksys they also say it should work. Has anyone else had a similar problem with their DSL and a gaming system? Ive tried giving it a perm IP but that doesnt work either.

hey has anyone else had a problem when playin online games? i have never had any prob with this before yesterday. well i moved the router and modem upstairs next to my PS2 and Xbox so they are both wired, while my 3 computers all have wireless cards...If anything, i will get that new wireless gaming router that i kinda heard about....

I play alot of SOCOM and Xbox Live and can lagggg like a mofo even with a 3.1 mbps. Is there anyway to tweak a setting or 2 in order to get a higher speed? What i figured is that all the tweaks i make on this computer, they only affect that connection not the router...Anyone have any info about this?

ok well i guess u cant change the duplex setting on a wireless adapter.

XP SP1 Comcast-Wireless Router(LInksys) 3000/256 OK got a couple of things i want to take care of in one post...I read in ur post that to make sure u have 'Full duplex'. I remember back when, where it was ..but now that i need to find it, i cant..so give me the place where its located! lol... Another thing my connection has changed in the past couple months.
