you know what i do have an old modem surfboard 4200 i mean got new computer should of thought of new modem..thanks folks.good to see there are people out there that like to help others.now i got to go to best buy.again thank you for your info

prolly i had the norm package 7/512 and always had that speed sometimes the upload would be higher.i just upgraded couple days ago my up load is what advertised just the download is whats gettin me

Yea im on ethernet connection,Windows ME,Cox security suite,no toolbars,got cablenut running with van burens version4 settings.
