I tried downloading from a different site, but the speed doesn't vary much. Thanks for the tips on download accelerators though!

So, I'm downloading an episode of Naruto. I got bored of bit torrent as it is hella slow, and decided to download directly. Then i found out, it isn't much faster than the torrent speed. Odd? Very.

But, my direct download right now is running under 4Kb/s. Am I missing something, or is my computer just messed up?

My advertised upload?? No idea. Them assholes didn't say anything of that nature on their site. On the other hand, my tested upload speed is about......... no clue....

They've upgraded system. The 5 is their new speed.

Also, quick question I've forgotten to ask. In the operating system under options, it doesn't show Windows XP, so I just assumed using 2000 would work. Or was that a baad idea?

Yup. Very much so. I've tried a few other things, and reached 150Kb. For strange reasons, i go down to 70, then go back up to around 100, then go back down.
