I have tried every tweak suggested on forum/t-2097 and it seems I am getting worse DL speeds then before (but only when connecting via my router) :::.. I am sitting about a foot away from the router so it is not a matter of having a weak signal, and the simple solution is, I know, to constantly use an ethernet cable and remain hooked up to the router but then what was the point of going wireless? I am a little unsure what settings I need to copy down so that I can manually add them once I upgrade so if you know what I should be writing down I would most appreciate the knowledge before I assume and screw myself over.
