Thanks for the postings. I have been using Firefox; but I just verified that the speed bump on re-test occurrs with IE6 as well. My cache has been set to 1meg all along.

I have noticed that Testmy.net invariably reports faster download speeds when re-testing. I have Comcast enhanced service and I typically test at 5Mbps; however, an immediate re-test yields 6Mbps. Which is the more reliable result and why the significant difference?
