I just asked a friend of mine that works for Bellsouth Support if this was true. This was his reply:

the story is true, the 6Mx1.5 is gonna be released in a few weeks the 9M circuit is still being Beta tested and we need to figure out what type of router can handle that speed.

I highly doubt that if this was untrue that multiple people who "work for Bellsouth" would have the wrong info. Unless we know the same guy
