  1. Actually I tried CableNut's tweaks and it hurt a little bit. I changed em back and got this. And it's where I'm gonna stay. EZ
  2. Advertised 5000/256 I think it's pretty decent. What do you guys think? 3. Thanks guys, I had a good spell today for about 20 minutes around 5 ET. I was getting speeds about like this: Connection is:: 940 Kbps about 0.9 Mbps (tested with 2992 kB) Download Speed is:: 115 kB/s Test Time:: Wed Aug 17 16:54:21 EDT 2005 Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-7AWGQ1EHX I was still dropping but only about 3-5% and much faster pings. Right now I am getting about 800Kbps. I talked to the local cable guy again and he is great to work with and is being as helpful as can be. He said he was going to test some things at home tonight. In the mean time he has given me a link to a php speed test on a server inside this network and I have gotten the following results: August 17th, 2005 5:20pm 1449.7 Kbps August 17th, 2005 5:20pm 1456.4 Kbps August 17th, 2005 5:21pm 1441.7 Kbps August 17th, 2005 6:06pm 1441.7 Kbps August 17th, 2005 6:44pm 1468.6 Kbps August 17th, 2005 6:46pm 1485.2 Kbps August 17th, 2005 9:20pm 1443 Kbps August 17th, 2005 9:26pm 1459.1 Kbps August 17th, 2005 9:27pm 1198.8 Kbps August 17th, 2005 10:55pm 1478.3 Kbps August 17th, 2005 11:12pm 1198.8 Kbps August 17th, 2005 11:12pm 1485.2 Kbps Does this mean the backbone is saturated and the upgrade to 45Mbps will help? Thanks again, EZ
