Thanks guys, I had a good spell today for about 20 minutes around 5 ET. I was getting speeds about like this: Connection is:: 940 Kbps about 0.9 Mbps (tested with 2992 kB) Download Speed is:: 115 kB/s Test Time:: Wed Aug 17 16:54:21 EDT 2005 Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-7AWGQ1EHX I was still dropping but only about 3-5% and much faster pings. Right now I am getting about 800Kbps. I talked to the local cable guy again and he is great to work with and is being as helpful as can be. He said he was going to test some things at home tonight.
