This means you can now achieve insane speeds. I just scored 29Mbps on the speed test in peak hours for fun. I wonder what the limit for boosting is....

No upload increase however. We can now see 30/768Kbps....sad, I know.

I have great signals, computer is super, everything is ok except for Comcast. How can I go about getting Comcast to fix this huge packet loss issue?

Download speed: 8344Kbps
Upload speed: 788Kbps (I always get max upload speeds when uploading files )

I like my speeds. Only if pings were a little better I would have an extremely awesome gaming connection.

C o M c A s T = LaG fiesta
aka u can use like 5 GB/ transfer a month and get capped lol
i think i used 2 terrabyes tho
that must be y
still betta than optimum tho
Your ignorance is great.
Comcast DOES NOT cap. They send you a warning letter. If you continue to do the same they give you a suspension for X amount of months.
Yes the latency on Comcast does suck. Other then that I haven't had a problem with them.

Official Comcast representative has said we should be looking at a speed of upgrades in the next round which should be maybe next spring? I don't know. No date was specified but he said on the next round the upload was going to be increased. Don't expect something like 3Mbps on upload but maybe 768Kbps-1Mbps on the lower tier and something a little higher on the gold tier.

Dude those speeds are not crazy. More like normal. They are within easy range from many ISPs.
Comcast
Optimum Online
Verizon
Surewest
Those just the top of my head because I know there are many others.
That is a good speed nonetheless.

Everyone in Illinois has been upgraded just so you know.
If you have a Moto SB 4100 modem you might want to call Comcast so you can get a newer one since people report having troble getting the 8Mbps+ speed.
Official Comcast update on areas upgraded:

Like I said it is only on the downside. Files tend to keep speeds between 20-30Mbps for mins actually. I think I did a 150MB or so file at 25Mbps constant.
