Cablenut Screwed my speed :(
in XFINITY (Comcast Cable Communications)
Posted
compuworm, Yes i am a nub when it comes to this but i followed VanBuren's instructions to the letter and I ran the program and my speed dropped from 4 megs to 1. I do realize that it has helped a lot of people, and im not bashing it i just want some help to figure out what i did wrong to make cablenut screw my speed. As for the mode my NIC is set in, i have no idea, dont see the option for switching the duplex when looking at it....its a wireless card, not sure if that changes anything.
I have applied your settings Blunted and it has come back to 4 meg, once again the computer directly connected to the router is running at 6-7megs still.
