    I am switching to www.telus.net for a 1.5/512 connection. My friend has it and its usually at full speed. The guy is gonna switch it on Jan 5. I still have time. Should I switch or not??

    If that's a 10/1 connection, you're at half your advertised upload. Your ISP doesn't seem to have advertised speeds on its site, which is BAD, plus the download and upload limits are really low. Please tell me this is not another one of those monopolistic companies...

    i guess it is a monopolistic companies.....and anyway whats my limit lol i dont know it!

    so i call my provider and they tell ME IM ON A 10/1 CONNECTION!

    I am not getting anywhere near my speeds....can sum1 help me and i have used cablenut and it did improve my speeds a bit

    ya im behind a router- Dlink 524...i sometimes go on my laptop and when i connect via cable its slower that when i connect wireless!!!

    No right now im not with telus..im still with dcc but i may switch to telus and dcc gives me 10/1.5 meg connection but i wanna switch to telus because they are offering 3/640 connection but there goes faster because i checked on my friends who lives close to me...
