I beleive all he did was make a more direct connetion from the main cable line to the modem. Rather than it going through the many splitters it did before. Yet for some unexplainable reason (unknown by comcast) My service has been down for five days =(

What is Your Advertised Speed? Hey, anything better than dailup is fine with me.

It seems that most people with comcast have been getting higher speeds than advertised.
