Hello guys, ive been experiencing a lot of troubles with my isp, comcast, and figured i might as well try to fix it myself before i go through all the hassle of calling them over here. Im running off of windows xp comcasts advertised speed is 4mbps download and 384 kbit upload rate. I have windows sp2 installed.
1. My test from broadbandreports has shown this

3.nitro gives me this speed

running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 688.44kb/s

Information: The receive buffer should be 42.08 Kbytes to maximize throughput (How would i go by changing this?)
