  6. Van  i think i just messed up my computer,  so im uninstallin everything and startin over.  :(    i think i was over my head when i was downloading things but know i think i can do it from scratch.  But ill make a new  forum  in a bit to tell you where im at in the process.  Why think i messed my  comp. up is that when i installed the sp2 my download and upload went to the crapper.  But know i cant remember what file its under.  I did this late at night so i was kinda of out of it.  So im gonna try it all over again and hopefully ill get it up to part.  Hey Van Buren thanks for your help and patience i learned a lot for now and keep up the good work.

    Thanks qUicK05 ;)

  7. Heres that other thing you wanted me to do.

    TCP options string = 020405b40103030401010402

    MTU = 1500

    MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

    MSS = 1460

    Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which equals MSS.

    Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 749568

    RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 4 bits (scale factor of 8)

    Unscaled Receive Window = 46848

    For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.

    Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:

    513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)

    256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)

    128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)

    64240 (MSS x 44)

    bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):

    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 29982.72 kbps (3747.84 KBytes/s) @ 200ms

    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 11993.088 kbps (1499.136 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

    MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

    Time to live left = 50 hops

    TTL value is ok.

    Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

    Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

    IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 11110000

    Precedence (priority) = 000 (routine)

    Delay = 0 (normal delay)

    Throughput = 1 (high throughput)

    Reliability = 1 (high reliability)

    Cost = 1 (low cost)

  8. Hey Van i downloaded sp2 does it really take 59mins?  And my computer takes longer to for the icons on lower right screen to come on than before.  So i cant find the p2p fix on that website you gave me at all been tryin for days.  And i cant remember how i got to windows update last night so could you give me the link so i can download the patches you said to down load thanks qUicK05 :-P
