i have cablenut, doesnt do much on this computer, same file and does wonders on my other one.
forgot about that reset button on teh back, but its working now, with better browsing speeds.
thanks php, thats what i needed.
also, there isn't any updates for firmware or drivers, i have the latest.

can't reset the router because i don't have the cd that came with it anymore.
what is the run command that has to do with the WZC, its something like services.mac but im forgetting something.

i tried 6 and 11 for the channel, doesnt help, haven't reseted everything so i guess i'll just try that.

I got a Wireless-G Broadband Router with SpeedBooster from Linksys WRT54GSV4, with Firmware Version : v1.05.2.
and let me tell you, it blows. When i use it wirelessly, my speed drops down to 200kB/s instead of the usual 1000+kB/s connection that i have direct connected. What can i do to fix this problem? The router is only about 4- 5 feet away with the atennaes pointing away from the computer, tried toward it and in every other direction. What can i do to fix thsi wireless problem or am i stuck with the worse wireless router ever created?

Good find there Swimmer. Another thing is that here in Florida, Bellsouth promised we will be upgrading to their new 6Mbps/512Kbps tier by November of 2005. And look at how time flies, it is well into 2006 and still no upgrade. Bellsouth also has horrible customer service by the way.

how come for every bittorent client i ever used i get under 200kB/s when i download, but the average is around 20 - 30kb/s if im lucky? im running on comcast 8/768 line and on file transfers i get a consisten 1100kB/s download rate? i did everything i had to do to fix the torrents but still no luck with none of them.

already did that... nothing works for me with bittorent.

ummm.. i tryed everything, bittornado, azeuras, utorrent, and some others i forgot. all are bad for me

ok i fowarded it... but i am downloading at a whopping 10kB/s out of a 1100kB/s connection. i have bad luck with torrents, nothing i can do about it.

for some reason in my uTorrent, none of the files start to download... ive been waiting for over an hour and still nothing.

not bad not bad... but wilt scored like above 70 like 5 different times... this is kobe's second time i think.. One was at 72 and now his 81.

THAT IS HORRIBLE... My connection is 8Mbps with Comcast
I always get over cap and my file transfers are above 1100kB/s every time. So to me that is half of what i should be getting... ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD BE DOING? Disabling the secruity? or something? please help me out.

well what else would i use the router other than accessing the internet? but I think that is a pretty good idea since i keep the laptop so close to the router. I will change it and see if it works. So far it has been to G only
