Thanks all.... The reason I want wireless is because I have a roommate who needs an connection... But that linksys I will be returning later on today.

Wow thats kinda crappy! The RR man on the street gave me the ideas to do that and said I should be able to do it w/out telling them and now staples have a 14 days return policy and yesterday made the 14th day

Okay I have RR (road runner) as my ISP.... I wanted to config. my own speed and connection so I went out and bought a linksys modem but my connection isnt working I also bought a Netgear wireless modem 802.11 and also not working... My Linksys lights keep blinking and when I connect the netgear modem to my rr modem it connects and I went throught the steps but after I re-booted it said Limited or No Connectivity.

Wait let me re-phrase my question to get the best answer.... Will the Westell 327W given by Verizon work with Road Runnder "wireless" service? I dont want to go by another modem and I could have used what I already have.

I am on verizon and my mom is on RR when I did test @ my home it said I was fast blah blah blah but the upload took all night (12hrs) Went to my moms house ran a test she was fast but NOT faster than me and the same program was WAY faster than mines....
