I tried power cycling the modem and finally called Comcast and they told me they couldnt even detect the modem...but now I'm getting a 1.5mbps download. I have no clue whats going on lol and help would be great!!

Ok I have comcast and I have there 8mbps package but for some reason my computer is running at this speed!! Any suggestions would be great. I have windows xp, windows live one care for antivirus which is updated and scan found no viruses(comcast said it might be that) and I'm using a linksys cable modem and a linksys router. :::.. Ok I didnt know where to post this but I'm sure someone will know the answer. I have been running around 56k download speed on the test with my 8mbps comcast connection for some reason so I have been looking around trying to figure out why. I ran this command <start> <run> <cmd> <netstat> and it shows these options proto, local address, foriegn address, stats. What do these options mean? anyone know? thanks for help.
