Hm. I'm not really sure what to do. I've cleaned my computer of spyware, viruses and trojans. I've also ran ccleaner and updated the firmware for my router which is a wgr614v7. My wireless adapter is a wusb54gv4 and I'm using WPA-Personal encryption--if that helps. Hm, I'm pretty sure my advertised speeds should be 8mpbs, but I would be satisfied with at least 4 or 5. I know if I used an ethernet connection it would probably be faster, but cables are too much of a hassle for this household. Please can someone help me? Any advice would be appreciated.

well i'm actually getting that speed dap just open multiple connection and since i have a Quad WAN Load Balancing router setup to do round robin connection states it sends each connection out the next modem and the rrd graphs are 30 second avgs so there a little short but  and my busting speed during that transfer were 2.64 Megabytes a second those arent burst speeds look at the speed graphs on the dap pictures.

i don't think that site is very accurate. i can download over 4mb from there.

you got that because you are now on Comcast boost, it allows for those kinds of speeds. And thats really good

for me sometimes it hangs up and sometimes it doesnt. weird.

my comcast speeds are really inconcistent and i dont know why. i did the cablenut stuff, and i am using the 6mb connection. when i tested today i got this:
