  1. Just a follow-up. Had to get a modem replacement and a new router. The modem was capping it at 5, and the router (about 6 years old) only had a 10 connection. Upgraded to a new linksys and getting great speeds. :::..   2. That is almost what I was wondering...it is odd though, that for about 4 years I never had this problem and then the minute I upgrade to 10/1 it starts happening.

  5. They were about three feet apart and tested again at about 6 feet apart. I am still getting the same speeds...
  6. Hello Everyone, I just recently upgraded to a 10/1 cable line in the Tampabay Florida area (RoadRunner). Prior to that I had the 5/384 package and I was able to get a little above that consistently with tweaks (behind the router mentioned below). Here is why I am frustrated with this new package and hoping that I can get some help from the experts
