Hi forumers,
Recently upgraded my 512/256 to a much faster( at least faster then the previous one) speed... 3000/ 384. But not getting at least 90% of it... I am only getting about 1500/ 164...

you need to add a TCP overhead ( 7 to 10% )on your score and then your faster then advertised
Can enlighten(=explain) me with that line? don't quite understand. you mean adding 7% to 10% more to my download speed? if so, what do u mean by TCP overhead?.

I got norton antivirus.....no virus found...even reformatted by whole computer. Used ashampoo powerXP platinum for optimizing of internet speed....but no use...no change.

I just did not see the change at all.....
I have set my RWIN to 128480. I will post my download and upload result ASAP.
For the decreasing of MTU, i dunno the step.
Hope that u can post a step-by-step guide to guide me along
