  1. I rearranged my network and the problem seems to have fixed itself. I'm currently downloading a file with a browser window open to my modem's access page and the auto refresh is working no problem. I was also able to browse to this site without a problem. thanks for the help, though, I appreciate it.
  2. I've tried power cycling several times, and the DHCP is definitely disabled in the router, but no luck. But I will try plugging my computer directly into the modem. Can't believe I didn't think of that! And thanks for the welcome!
  3. Whenever I attempt to download a file, my entire network runs as if its at full capacity. I can't access websites, the modem, or my router (which is acting as a switch as my hughesnet modem has firewall and DHCP server). Any thoughts?
