Yep, have done all of the above and my wired NIC is configured to 100Mbps (full duplex). I'll update you on Monday after Comcast's visit. Hopefully, things will be resolved and I can take you up on your offer to make it faster!! Thanks!

I first suspected the problem to be caused by the router and connected my pc via ethernet (100 Mbps) to my Motorola SB5100 modem. Unfortunately, the difference in speed was negligible. My download connection remains around 45% to 50% of Comcast's advertised speed for its Gold Tier Service (6000/768). Upload speeds are consistently at 95% to 100%. Prior to this recent upgrade, my connection was at 100% to 110% of advertised speed (3000/384). I used TCPOptimizer to tweak the registry settings. I have installed Cablenut and applied the XP SP2/MSS 1460 ccs file.. Unfortunately, it hasn't fixed the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated!! Here's my stats per your sticky: 1. XP Pro SP2.
