  1. Yeah, I'm currently using cablenut. I've tried tweaking from dslreports.com too. Nothing seems to do the trick with either of the onboard NIC's. I find a lot of conflicting info out there. Cablenut settings, according to dslreports tweaktest, are not suitable, and then I'll read on another forum that both values are way off. It's a never ending battle. I'm just thankful to be over 1mbit again. Any suggestions are always welcome. I also have a box with Kubuntu Linux on it, and it's just as slow which leads me to believe it's all hardware issues. Thanks for the reply.
  2. Problem solved! A different tech came out today and fixed a some fittings on a piece of cable on the exterior of the building.
  3. Also, here's the link to the line quality test on dslreports.com http://www.dslreports.com/quality/nil/2077990 Any other info you guys need, just let me know. Thanks again!

This is an Adelphia (now Time-Warner) network. My cable modem is a Moto SB5100. I pay for 6000/768. The techs here are seriously numb. The guy I had here today told me that since I'm getting 400K down, that's all they're responsible for and then he left. So now I turn to you. If this should've been posted in the "help" forum I apologize. Thanks! I have tried running cablenut with my own custom settings made for MTU 1500, 6000/768 from their site.
