    VanBuren :)

    alright welll i did all the test and here's what i got

    :::.. Download Stats ..:::

    Connection is:: 709 Kbps about 0.7 Mbps (tested with 2992 KB)

    Download Speed is:: 87 KB/s

    Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/

    Test Time:: Wed Mar 9 23:25:30 EST 2005

    Bottom Line:: 13X faster than 56K 1MB download in 11.77 sec

    Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 36.58 % of your hosts average (rogers.com)

    Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-PQXH58UO2

    :::.. Upload Stats ..:::

    Connection is:: 124 Kbps about 0.1 Mbps (tested with 1496 KB)

    Upload Speed is:: 15 KB/s

    Tested From:: http://www.testmy.net/

    Test Time:: Wed Mar 9 23:28:21 EST 2005

    Bottom Line:: 2X faster than 56K 1MB upload in 68.27 sec

    Diagnosis: May need help : running at only 42.03 % of your hosts average (rogers.com)

    Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-1B2MQKJCR

    TCP options string = 020405b40103030301010402

    MTU = 1500

    MTU is fully optimized for broadband.

    MSS = 1460

    Maximum useful data in each packet = 1460, which equals MSS.

    Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 384000

    RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 3 bits (scale factor of 6)

    Unscaled Receive Window = 48000

    For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.

    Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:

    513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of

    256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)

    128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)

    64240 (MSS x 44)

    bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):

    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 15360 Kbps (1920 KBytes/s) @ 200ms

    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 6144 Kbps (768 KBytes/s) @ 500ms

    MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON

    Time to live left = 56 hops

    TTL value is ok.

    Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF

    Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON

    IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000

  2. yo VanBuren thanks for the help but you forgot to post the link to the tweak file...coudl you paste it thanks

  3. use this file

    C:ProgramCablenutVanBurens_cablenut_settings_version_6_ALL_WIN_OS_AND_SATCABLE_DSL_FIBER_DIAL-UPWinXP_2K_CABLE_DSLMSS1460

    load the file, click save to registry and reboot

    make a new speedtest, use the 2992 KB file downstream and 1496 KB test upstream

    also make a new tweaktest/analyzer and paste result here

    VanBuren :)
