If your using TCP optimizer or dr TCP (my self i have both) i would check out the tweaks you have done on this web site http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks then do a speed test. I used TCP optimizer but after running the tweak test on dsl reports it suggested changing the rwin. after a few changes and reboots I finally got that everything looked good. my speed went from 4 to 6.5 and it seems to stay around that .. my isp is pipex and i am supposed to get speeds up to 8 meg. hope this helps

Hi I have used dr tcp adn tcp optimiser. I have found the tcp optimiser the best for tweaking my connection speed.. it is very easy to use and i am sure you will notice a big difference.. hope this helps Ed

hey guys .well the advertised speed is up to 8 meg. at first you think wow 8 but its only up to.. but I am quite happy with that. I have tried tcp optimizer and drtcp. one either changes the other but i don't know if i could get anymore.. with tweaking .. anybody got any other ideas..

hi I am on a adsl and up to 8 meg broadband. but like i said before i can only get up to five or six. it must be how far i am away from the exchange. before i used drtcp I was only getting 1.5 and up to 2 meg . but after the tweaking suggestions it made a big improvement.

I use drtcp .. then I went on google and put in recommended settings for drtcp there are a lot of different sites. http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/tweak2.htm is one were i found some usefull info. my speed went from 2 meg up to 5 after i put in the recomended settings .. hope this helps you
