So, is there any way to get my download speed up even if I am running on average?

No, 24, I'm serious. Just check Qwest.com for your self. They have a package that is rated at 1.5Mbps down and 896Kbps up. That's what I got. I just need help getting it even close to the advertised ratings. Please, help me out.

Alright, guys. Thanks for the help. I reconfigured some of my connections and what not and now its working a bit faster at about 160Kbps, but still not as fast as it should be. My download test showed I was downloading at 64 kbps while I have an advertised 1.5 Mbps download and 896 Kbps upload. What the hell is this, dialup? I'm running on XP and my provider is qwest. Im new around here and i could not find anywhere else on the internet where i could increase my download speeds.
