That is a job for tomorrow . I'll post the results of my conversation with them after it takes place.

I'm in Phoenix and since saturday I've been experiencing MAJOR slowdown starting at 6pm and ending at 10pm (peak hours I suppose). Before and after these times my speed is normal. Earlier today I set my RWIN to 34500 only to find that it reset itself to Windows default (17500 I think) without any input from me. How do I prevent this from happening again?

Mine too gets plenty of use so I guess it's time to invenst in a new modem. Thanks for your comment.

...how long do cable modems last? I was told 2-3 years and mine is approaching five. I'm asking because my net has been running very slow lately (using Cox) and its really pissing me off . Playing Xbox Live during peak hours is impossible with the speed I am acheiving.
