    update on my cox HSI status... tech guy came out, swapped several connectors, upgraded to SB5120 modem. now speeds are right at 600KB/s down, and 50 KB/s up. not what was promised from fastisbeautiful as far as upload, however, i can now host 16 man rainbow six games flawlessly and 12 man games in ghost recon with full explosives. So im somewhat passified atm. and my gamertag is Lucky Strike, games i play: just about have em all

    heya all, i have cox.net in hamton roads also (virginia beach) just upgrade to fastisbeautiful, extra 15 bucks a month but since im an xbox live gamer, thought it would be worth it. BUT problems have arisen in the past few days. as of right now i get 10KB/s download and 6 KB/s upload on a consistent basis, its rediculous i am supposed to be getting what dude up there is getting. Ive tried everything, eliminating every problem on my end. Cox tech guy is coming this saturday to check everything out. But since i upgraded, nothing but problems. Could it be the modem? Its a 4 year old General instruments surfboard sb3100 oh well, guess i'll find out saturday. (sometimes in off peak times i get as high as 144KB/s down and 60KB/s up, which is still far less download than what i used to get, and less upload than what im paying for) thanks!
