  1. I was afraid that might be the case with this modem. I guess the good/bad thing is I bought the modem a few years ago on sale so I can't trade it in but I can buy a replacement. By now I've more than broken even by buying the modem versus what I would have paid in modem rental fees to Cox. Right now D-Link has a $20 rebate for the DCM-202 so it might be time for another upgrade.

  4. Thanks for the response. Affirmative to the reboot(s). I've got McAfee Firewall and previous test with the firewall disabled didn't seem to yield any better results.
