I can't figure out wat Rwin to use, j79zlr's website says use 768000, dslreports tweak test says 65535, and then CableNut settings for my speed say 388000 and its driving me crazy trying to figure it out, I have Comcast and its the 6000/768 but comcast says i have dl speed of 6600 so i don't know what to say, i was wondering if anyone can help me out.

Yea i have Earthlink cable and my adapter is up to date, i spened half an hour searching the site and its actually 4mb download speed but it makes no sense im getting 4.3mbs. I don't have a router and believe me there isn't a single spyware on my computer, i have run cccleaner, adaware pro norton in safe mod and it is clean. But then again maybe not i have no idea, but i want to get mroe speeds just have it stable too.
p.s. is there anything to do to make sure its not on my side, like the reason i'm having problems to due with my pc.

I had comcast hsi 6/768kbps and switched to earthlink. Comcast was crappy for me and very unstable and to many problems so thats why i switched. I talked to earthlink and they tell me my caps are 1.5 and i forget upload but my results say different.

Only problem is without the tweaks my ping is stable about like 5-10 ms apart, but with the tweaks the ping is about 50-100 apart which is very unstable, i was wondering if anyone knows how to help me have a fast rate but have a much mroe stable ping.
Since im getting it through comcast im getting 4000/386 and im paying about $45 and i don't want to pay that much for 2391 so please someone help me.

its even worse without the tweaks, i just recently started getting into tweaks now, before i just had normal settings.

they came said everything is alright and left before i could get home to talk to him, and im still getting the same results, they have a block on my tv cable because i don't have all the channels, you think that might be the problem?

Van buren, i need some help, i called my cable company and they are getting teh same problem but have no idea what to do. they are sending a tech out to check the wires but if they are getting the same thing what am i gonna do?

I also did evertying i thought that would make the connection better, i rewired so its only one coaxial wire to the computer, new ethernet wire with gold for better performance and i even got a trapper too.

Im running intel pentium 4 processor 2.8GHz with xp sp2 1024mb ram Comcast cable 6000/768, im using the cable settings from the cable nut settings that i got from your file and i seem to get 5.5 constant. the thing is i still manage to get choke and lag when i play my video games. i don't have a fiewall or anyhng installed and i don't have no routers or nothing. please help.
