the modem can only physically do 53.3Kbps (i think, i'm to lazy to look it up, but its somewere are there) max, there is no way to get faster with just a single modem. You can do modem bonding to get double the speed, but most ISP's don't support that.

There is no program out there that will increase your download speeds. propel is the only thing that can speed up browsing.

my friend usually get 55 to 56 lowest was 52

does dialup acceleration increase download speeds?

you ppl in us are so lucky i pay 130TT which is equivalent to 25Us for dialup(56k). and my download speeds is 3kb/s and sometimes 4kb/s. and dsl here is like 400TT which is somewhere 65US. the download speeds are like 30kb/s

i have the same results on my 42.6k(it went to 4Kbps once though)

can someone install a program called firetune (it tweaks ff )and do the test over plz

i dunno but its says that im using 2.32% of the advertised speed
