I tried that other tester, and it gave me very similar results. Downstream 701 Kbps (87.6 KB/sec) 757 Kbps (inc. overheads) Upstream 120 Kbps (15.0 KB/sec) 129 Kbps (inc. overheads)

I have a 3.00ghz Dell 8400, with 1gb ram and Windows XP. I live in England and have an NTL 750k connection which runs through a Linksys Router. I followed the instructions at this post http://www.testmy.net/topic-2097'>http://www.testmy.net/topic-2097 but it didnt improve my speed at all. I also follwoed the basic VanBuren TestMy.net Cablenut settings which didnt improve my speed. Here are some pasted results that the thread above recommended 1.
